Ally, every course looks absolutely delicious. The food, the company. You all must have had a memorable Christmas Day xxxx

    • Ally says:

Thanks Chris. It was all delicious. We did have a lovely day. Poor Little Baker was unwell but it didn’t dampen the excitement. It just led the adults to an early state of exhaustion, haha! It was great to have Susie with us too. :)

  4. deeelish! I have to make the cashew cheese :D

  5. susykat says:

I am still recovering from all of this amazing food!!!

    • Ally says:

It was fabulous! Mum really outdid herself, and you did a great job at quality control. ;) Thanks for suggesting that we make the cashew cheese. I’m soaking cashews tonight so that I can make it again tomorrow. :)

      • susykat says:

Haha yeah I really excel at quality control… facilitated by lots of Kahlua! ;)

Let’s be honest – that cheese is out of this world! :-) Good luck with your next batch!

      • Ally says:

It’s cooling on the bench now. I’m hoping I can just refrigerate it until tonight -I can’t wait until tomorrow.
        Happy new year!

This looks like a meal from a legit vegan restaurant!! OHH my gosh, I want all of this! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

  7. Laura says:

It all looks delicious! So gourmet!

  8. Andra Muhoberac says:

Just the kind of food I love–besides Chinese, of course, but I don’t think Chinese would go that great at Christmas. Heehee! Really and truly delicious looking! I’m sure it tasted as good as it looks! Happy holidays to you all!

    • Ally says:

      Hi Andra :)

I hope you and Larry had a lovely Christmas. Our feast was fabulous. My beautiful mum did the vast majority of the food prep for Christmas lunch. She is a great cook.

It’s interesting that you mention Chinese food. We are seriously considering going to a vegan restaurant for yum cha on Christmas day next year. :) Yummy food, no cooking, no kitchen clean-up. Sounds appealing to me.
      Happy new year, Andra.

  9. Merry (belated) Christmas, Ally! That spread looks incredible. I love the way every dish has the whole red/green Christmas thing going on – so bright and fresh-looking. I’ll definitely be looking back at these for ideas for my 2nd vegan Christmas next year.

    • Ally says:

      Hi Linda,
Happy new year! I hope you and your family had an enjoyable and relaxing Christmas.

We just needed some green in the trifle, haha!

Do you have any exciting plans for new year’s eve or new year’s day?

The green beans and pomegranate dish looks delicious! A nice sweet alternative to cranberry sauce.

What an amazing feast! Makes my luxury Christmas nacho’s pale into almost insignificance ;)
